I was skeptical but I tried it and it's wonderful
Okay my purrboy rarely plays with anything but by himself. This thing was such a surprise. He actually got in the center of it and moved around playing with it and he has never done that before. Now mind you he is a senior at 12 years old and he doesn't play a lot but he plays with this when he chooses to play. He rubs up against it either inside or outside of it, grabs it with his paws, scratches on it like cats normally do and for some reason he stuffs all those toys in the center of it. He chases the balls that come with it and it has never once come apart while he was stretching in it and he's a big boy. I highly recommend Kitty Kurls, even for an old, lazy fatboy.
Owner reviewGet the two pack!
This is a hit with my very active cat. I needed something for him to attack besides the other cats. It only took a few crumbs of catnip to peak his interest. He even went back to it after walking away. It's made of cardboard & has relatively strong magnets that seem to hold up to normal use. Get the two pack. One is too small to stretch around the cat like the videos & images I've seen show. Each comes with its own ball so you can use them together or have two separately if needed for multiple cats. I'm glad I took a chance on this.
Owner reviewGreat product, for the right cat.
I was surprised when I got it, I expected the box it came in to be cat sized! It was as small as my fist lol. But. The TOY!!! My kitty loves it. Shes a huge cardboard freak, and she loves rubbing up against it. She hasn't gone for the ball inside as much, but she's not huge on bells, so I replaced it with a foam ball and she loves it. I expected that before I bought it though. I haven't seen her try to destroy it yet, but she was overloaded with Christmas presents this year. I'm sure in due time it'll get destroyed with her zoomies but as for now she walks past it once in awhile and gives it a little attack, lifts it up off of the ground and tosses the whole thing around. It's cute. Worth the $$. I am going to buy another one so I can make more shapes with it. :) definitely happy with my purchase. I also bought a 2pack of the knockoff versions for some of my friends cats. They're not half as interested as my cat is with hers. Maybe it's the cats personality, maybe it's the product. I definitely recommend this for an energetic cat with orange cat behaviour,, but it may not be as appealing for a sophisticated kitty who doesn't play much. lol. Any bad reviews you see must be from people who have cats who don't love cardboard... hahah
Owner reviewOk toy
My cats ignored it; they didn’t take to it as the ads suggested. I did catch one of them playing with it for a few minutes a few days later. Good toy, but not as enticing as the ads suggested.
Owner reviewBefore you order
Does it come assembled?
It arrives folded into a small block. Pull it open and let the magnetic ends find each other — no tools, no glue.
Which set should I pick?
The single curl suits one cat. The pairs give you two curls that connect into longer tracks for multi-cat homes.
What is the difference between the shapes in the options?
The original curl has the classic printed end caps; the E-shape and F-shape listings are alternative end shapes of the same reversible accordion.
My cat ignores it. Now what?
Roll the bell ball through the track while your cat watches, add a pinch of the included catnip, and leave the toy where your cat already plays. Many owners report a slow start and a sudden interest a few days later.
