Kittens
Kittens chase the bell ball and climb through the arch shapes. Supervise the very young ones the first few times — like any cardboard toy, it is for playing, not chewing.
Adults and seniors
Adult cats scratch and ambush; senior cats tend to nap in the ring and bat the ball when it rolls past. Both work.
Big households
With several cats, the two-piece sets make longer shapes so more than one cat can play at the same track.
